Leadership and Team Development
Talisman Therapeutic Riding Inc., situated just over the Bay Bridge from Annapolis on Maryland’s beautiful Eastern Shore, is proud to announce our new program in Leadership & Team Development!
Under the guidance of our own PATH International Certified Riding Instructor Wendy Gast, our staff is also partnering with Marty Goldberg, a thirty-year veteran in the field of organization development, working with a wide array of companies and leadership teams. Our program is a seven-hour session for team members, combining introductory ground-based and optional riding exercises. We combine a variety of equestrian activities with time set aside for group discussion and shared insights.
Learnings are mined for their rich implications and application at work—and in keeping with Talisman’s values and mission, deepened personal understanding and development. As always, the horses are our teachers. We tailor the event to your own needs and aims, with follow up coaching and sessions available. No previous riding experience is needed. More on the program and its co-directors, Wendy and Marty, can be found below, and we are happy to answer questions you may have.
Sessions will begin in October, so call us now for early sign up. Looking forward to working with you!
TTR’s Leadership & Team Development Program Topics
Some of our program topics include the points below. We can add to or modify these for your needs in the way we tailor the event. We also always stand ready to respond to the needs of your team and participants in the moment.
Based on a short written questionnaire we ask participants to complete at the outset, we work to match people with horses for best learning effect.
Activities draw from our family stable of 12 trained horses, conducted year-round at our beautiful 30-acre farm in our outdoor round pen and spacious, enclosed arena.
Lunch is provided.
